English is truly worldwide language. It is the main language used in international trade, diplomacy, and scientific research. Most of the world's mail and computer data written in English. It is also the language of air traffic control. These are some reason that we should promote digital literacy through English proficiency to our fellow Filipinos.
Today, English, like all living languages continues to grow and spread. Rapid developments in technology are reflected in the language, and some technical terms also work their way into ordinary English speech. New words come from many other sources as well, from slang to fashion to sport. In developing a further growth of digital literacy which sounds are transcribed as binary digits to be replayed electronically with a very high degree of fidelity in the state of being literate. English proficiency lead us to better country. As we all know that our computers, gadgets and machines are in English language for if we are English proficient we can be easily operate all ages of technology. Let should use digital literacy for us not to left behind the modern life. We are now living in an age of technology, that's why we should educate ourselves and be able to be a literate person in speaking English language.
It's likely that English will remain the world's most important language for same time to come. There are no major competitors waiting to take over. As early as now it is therefore conclude that English language should promote now for the betterment of our country.
